Terms of Use

Last updated 4 November 2026

The terms for using Strike. Please read them, with the Risk Disclosure, before you trade.

01These terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Strike Labs Ltd. (“Strike”, “we”) for your use of strikelabs.app, trade.strikelabs.app, the Strike API and the services behind them (the “Service”). By using the Service you accept them, the Privacy Policy and the Risk Disclosure. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

02Who can use Strike

You may use the Service only if all of the following are true:

  • You are at least 18 and able to enter into this agreement.
  • You are not a United States person, and you are not located in, resident in or organized under the laws of the United States.
  • You are not located in, resident in or organized under the laws of a country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions, including Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria and the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions, and you are not a sanctioned person or acting for one.
  • Using the Service is lawful where you are, and you do not use any tool, such as a VPN, to hide where you are.
  • You have been admitted to the closed beta, by invite or otherwise.

We may ask for information to check this, and may refuse or end access at any time.

03What Strike is

Strike is a venue for cash-settled options and related products, matched by Strike’s engine. Strike does not give investment, legal or tax advice, does not manage your money unless you choose a product that does, and does not act as your broker or fiduciary. Market data, prices, marks, greeks and estimates are provided for information and may be delayed or wrong.

04Your wallet and account

  • Your account is tied to the wallet you sign in with. You are responsible for that wallet, its keys and any trading session you approve with it. Anyone with access to them can act on your account.
  • Strike never holds your keys and cannot recover them or reverse a blockchain transaction.
  • Tell us straight away at support@strikelabs.app if you think your wallet or a session has been compromised.
  • One person, one account, unless we agree otherwise.

05Deposits, withdrawals and fees

  • Deposits are in USDC, to Strike’s vault on Arbitrum or through Hyperliquid. A deposit is credited once it is seen and may be withdrawable only after it has settled to the vault.
  • Withdrawals go to your own wallet, are processed in batches, and may take time or be delayed as set out in the Risk Disclosure.
  • Trading, settlement, deposit and other fees are shown in the app and published in the API before you trade. We may change them with notice there.
  • You are responsible for network fees and for any fees charged by other services you use.

06Orders, trades and settlement

  • An order you send, or a trading session you approve sends, is your instruction. A trade is final when the venue matches it, and the venue’s records are authoritative.
  • Contracts are settled in cash at expiry against a settlement price taken from reference sources. Expiry is 20:00 New York time on the expiry date unless the contract says otherwise. If a reference fails, we may use a fallback source or set the price by review.
  • We may halt a market, cancel resting orders, refuse orders, or, in the case of a clear technical error, cancel or adjust trades, to keep the venue fair and orderly.

07Margin and liquidation

You must keep enough margin for your positions, as Strike’s risk model computes it from time to time. If you do not, we may cancel your orders and close, reduce or transfer your positions without notice, at prevailing or reference prices, and charge the result and its costs to your account. Any shortfall remains owed by you. We may change margin requirements, position and open-interest limits at any time.

08Acceptable use

You must not:

  • manipulate prices or markets, trade with yourself to create false activity, spoof or layer orders, or trade on information you are not allowed to use;
  • exploit a bug, a pricing error or a failure of the Service, or break or probe its security;
  • get around limits, invites, eligibility rules or rate limits, including with several accounts;
  • overload the Service or use the API outside its published limits;
  • use the Service to launder money, finance terrorism or evade sanctions; or
  • use it for anyone else without our agreement.

We may investigate suspected misuse, freeze affected activity and report it where the law requires.

09Builders and the API

You may build on the Strike API within its published limits and documentation. A builder that routes orders to Strike is responsible for its own app and users, and must not misrepresent its relationship with Strike. API keys and builder keys are confidential; we may revoke them.

10Suspension and closure

We may suspend or close your access, in whole or in part, if you breach these terms, if we must for legal or security reasons, or if we end the Service. Where we can, we will let you close positions and withdraw your balance. You may stop using the Service at any time.

11Disclaimers

The Service is in closed beta and is provided as is and as available. To the extent the law allows, Strike makes no promise that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or free of errors, or that any data or price is accurate, and disclaims all implied warranties.

12Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, Strike and its affiliates, officers, employees and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, lost profits or lost opportunities, or for losses caused by market movements, your wallet, third-party networks or services, or events outside our reasonable control. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid to Strike in the three months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13Indemnity

You will cover Strike for losses and costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the Service, or your breach of law or of anyone’s rights.

14Changes and contact

We may change these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the Service means you accept it. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. Questions: support@strikelabs.app.
